Meet the Truongs
Hi there! We’re the Truongs—a fun-loving, adventure-seeking couple with a heart for fostering. We live in beautiful Colorado with our two amazing Australian Shepherds, Cooper and Kodak. Married since 2023, we’ve always known that our home was meant to be a place of love, laughter, and belonging—not just for us, but for others in need as well.
Our journey into foster care is fueled by faith, a deep love for family, and a calling to open our hearts and home to children who need a safe place to land. We believe every child deserves to feel seen, heard, and cherished, and we’re both excited (and a little nervous!) to step into this new chapter.
This blog is our way of documenting the ups, downs, and everything in between—the waiting, the learning, the heartbreaks, and the joys of fostering. Whether you’re considering fostering, already on the journey, or simply here to support and follow along, we’re so grateful to have you here.

Kelsey
I’m a graphic designer with a passion for creativity, family, and my faith in Jesus. As a Colorado native, I love spending time outdoors—whether it’s hiking, kayaking, or discovering new adventures. When I’m not designing, you’ll find me embracing my creative side, building Legos, or spending time with our amazing pups.
Cooper
I’m an 12-year-old Australian Shepherd mix with a big heart and an even bigger love for naps. My mom rescued me from the Navajo Reservation when I was just a pup, and I’ve been her loyal sidekick ever since! My favorite things include hanging out with her, going to the dog park, playing with my stuffies, and, of course, treats! I’m always up for an adventure—unless there’s a cozy spot for a nap instead.
Greg
I am a 31-year-old man who loves Jesus, my wife, chess, basketball, languages, videography, and humor. I enjoy learning new skills and using them to help others or connect through storytelling and shared accomplishments. I hope to teach foster kids to act justly, love mercy, and always find ways to use their gifts to bless others and better themselves.
Kodak
I’m a 3-year-old Australian Shepherd, bursting with energy and always ready for an adventure! I love playing with my big brother, Cooper, chewing on sticks, and going on walks. My favorite things in the world are getting pets, snuggling up for cuddles (the more, the better!), and watching Dad cook in the kitchen—just in case he drops something. Oh, and ice cubes? The best treat ever!
